Support for Young Performers with Big Dreams
Covering Sussex and Online
Brave Performer supports young performers and their parents with stage fright, anxiety, overthinking, and self-doubt, both on stage and in everyday life. Using Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and practical confidence tools, we help young people feel calmer, more resilient, and able to thrive in performances, auditions, school, festivals, competitions and beyond.

About
I’m Sarah , a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist, former child performer, and mum to two teenage girls who perform themselves. Growing up, I loved performing, but nerves and anxiety often got in the way and knocked my confidence more than people realised.
Now, as both a therapist and a parent, I can see how much pressure young performers can be under and how important it is to protect their confidence and wellbeing alongside their talent. Brave Performer was created to help young people feel calmer, more confident, and able to enjoy performing, without anxiety taking over, on stage or in everyday life.

Services
1:1 Support for Young Performers:
Individual sessions designed to help young people manage stage fright, performance anxiety, overthinking, low confidence, perfectionism, and self-doubt.Support for Parents:
Helping parents understand performance anxiety, pressure, and confidence struggles in a supportive and practical way. Together we look at ways to support young performers at home without adding extra pressure or stress.Support for Teachers & Performing Arts Schools:
Workshops, training, and collaborative support for performing arts schools and teachers who want to create healthier, more supportive environments for young performers.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Performing environments can sometimes feel intense for young people, parents, and teachers alike. I also offer supportive conflict resolution sessions for situations that may feel difficult to manage within the school setting alone.
Using a calm, therapeutic approach, I help create open conversations around friendship issues, misunderstandings, confidence struggles, group dynamics, and emotional wellbeing — supporting everyone involved to feel heard, understood, and able to move forward positively.
